After 13 years of playing together, Nefertiti Quartet brings its collective voice into a new chapter with a freshly composed repertoire. Developed through a collaborative writing process, the music is built from graphic scores, musical mazes that invite the four musicians to navigate, interpret, and improvise with more freedom.

Recorded live at Loft in Cologne in November 2025, this fifth album captures the quartet at its most adventurous and cohesive. Powerful melodies, deep grooves, and moments of experimental and free improvisation come together in a performance driven by intense interaction and trust. Above all, the recording captures the furious live energy that has defined Nefertiti throughout its journey, highlighting the spontaneity, risk, and joy at the heart of the band’s music.
